1. About the Application

Stockey ESS (Employee Self-Service) is a mobile application that allows employees to manage their attendance, view payslips, submit leave requests, track overtime, and receive HR notifications. The application is deployed and configured by your employer through the Stockey platform.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Stockey ESS mobile application and any related services. They apply in addition to any policies, agreements, or codes of conduct established by your employer.

2. Eligibility

You may only use Stockey ESS if:

Access to the app is provided to you as a benefit of employment. It is not a consumer service open to the general public.

3. Your Account

Your account is created and managed by your employer's HR team. You are responsible for:

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Your employer may monitor account activity in accordance with applicable employment law and company policy.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Stockey ESS solely for legitimate work-related purposes, including:

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

Violations may result in disciplinary action, termination of app access, and/or legal proceedings depending on the severity of the conduct.

6. Attendance & Check-In Rules

The check-in system is designed to record your actual presence at your assigned work location. By using the check-in feature, you confirm that:

Deliberately providing false attendance information is a serious breach of your employment obligations. Your attendance records generated through this app may be used by your employer for payroll calculation, performance reviews, and compliance purposes.

If you experience technical difficulties preventing you from checking in or out, contact your HR department immediately. Do not attempt to circumvent the system.

7. Your Data & Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit through the app is accurate and complete, including leave request details and correction request descriptions.

If you believe any data recorded about you is inaccurate (such as an incorrect check-in time), you should submit a correction request through the app and provide an explanation. Your HR team will review and respond.

Deliberately submitting false information (such as fabricated reasons for correction requests) may constitute misconduct.

8. Payroll Information

Payslips and salary information displayed in the app are for your reference. While we take care to ensure accuracy, the payslip data shown is generated based on attendance records, HR decisions, and the configuration set by your employer.

If you believe there is an error in your payslip or salary record, you must raise this with your HR department directly. The app provides a view of your payroll data — disputes must be resolved through your employer's official HR process.

Payslip data is confidential. Do not share your payslip or salary information with colleagues or third parties unless required to do so by law.

9. Notifications

By using the app, you consent to receive push notifications related to your employment, including leave decisions, payslip availability, shift changes, and attendance corrections. These notifications are operational and not marketing communications.

You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time. If you do so, you remain responsible for checking the app for updates that may affect your pay or schedule.

10. Intellectual Property

The Stockey ESS application, including its design, code, and features, is the intellectual property of Stockey and/or its licensors. Your employer has licensed the right to use the platform on your behalf.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application on your personal device for work purposes only. This licence does not grant you any rights to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit any part of the application.

11. Availability & Updates

We aim to keep the application available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may release updates to the app from time to time. Some updates may be required to continue using the service. We recommend enabling automatic updates on your device.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features of the application at any time with or without notice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

13. Termination of Access

Your access to Stockey ESS will be terminated automatically upon:

Upon termination, you must uninstall the app from your device. Your data will be retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Your employer may also suspend your access temporarily (for example, during a suspension period) without prior notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from or related to the use of this application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the app or through your employer's HR team.
